I thought that it would be that by saying that it was the birthplace of the fireside. Fish is probably the "market price". I went with a budget of three, and I was prepared for 10,000, but I was full order for 21,000 yen because it was an order while sharing. A glass of beer, hokke, shrimp, scallops, grilled asparagus, grilled egg. One small two-color bowl for sea urchin and salmon roe. Takato.
Since it seems to be relatively vacant if it is after 20 o'clock, it is OK even in a dive, but I think that it would not be disgusting to have someone who made a reservation, since the dive customers could not be managed. We recommend bookings, especially if you are a single person.
During our dinner, many tourists visited this shop. Mostly HOng konger. From The reviews, we thought it will be expensive. We paid $6480 yen for 2 pax. We ate pork steak, grilled flounder, pork sweker, fish cake, shitake mushroom, grilled miso cuttlefish, 1 bottle of sake.
Great atmosphere and full of locals. Food is cooked in front of you in a grill, and it's super tasty. I will definitely come back if opportunity arises
Delicious grill seafood! Ordered Grilled salmon, unagi, shisamo, potato!
Dining experience but overpriced with no price tag on the food. More for tourists than value-for-money food.
The proprietress said with enthusiasm that since she was traveling alone, the proprietress took care of a lot and asked me to connect with other guests by asking questions (thank you for your chicken wings). Not dark Japanese, but still order a table, it is so amazing! It is good to have the feeling of this store!
ask price of the menu
Great food and great grandma! ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ˜˜ but some food is just a bit salty for me. I still have an enjoyable moment here 😉
It is the oldest and most famous place in Kushiro's numerous robe-yaki restaurants. The store is also large (?), But there are about ten counter seats with a grill in the center and a bingo. I order Kinki (Dome), Lim Yeon-su and Shishamo (a cold spicy fish), and I ordered potatoes and cod roe as side dishes, but it is a typical Japanese style robe-yaki which is good to go to feel like eating beer rather than rice. (I went with my family in Korea but it was so expensive.) But in Japan, basically, the bar is basically wherever you go, you have to budget over 5000 yen per person. We have to go, but grilled fish grilled with a grill is a good taste. There is a lot of smoke, a lot of foreigners, and I can not help feeling unkind. The next time I go there, there are more local shops around, so I would like to go there, but this time I did not have a seat and only visited here. Please note that parking is not allowed.
Really taste good
Great food!
The atmosphere is good! But there is no price list and it is more expensive, the taste is more salty, the barbecue taste makes the hanging coats taste, and the meal is limited to one hour.........Think of the daily body of the aunt, smoked eyes, lungs, should be used for health! It is reasonable to think of this expensive, but it is impossible to satisfy me if I eat for an hour.
I think the taste is good, but it's hard to ask because the price is not written on the menu at all. A grandmother who is baking sometimes sleeps. (Laughs) The atmosphere of the hearth is the best!
Amazing good, amazing grandma
The taste of an old woman cooking with her own hands! In addition to the taste of food, feeling human is also important!
I visited it about 25 years ago because it was in a tourist guide book. I think you've been standing and waiting for more than 30 minutes. Meanwhile, I want to smoke a rabbit! I hurt my eyes. I couldn't understand the smoke if I put it on my seat. At that time, my grandmother was baking alone, but is this grandmother a person from that time? If so, I think it is quite old. Even now, it is the same as it was on the Internet. I was satisfied with my tongue. It's smokey, minus one star.
An authentic Robatayaki runs by a 80yrs old woman in a historic old house. Food is very impressive with great variety of choices.
I arrived at Kushiro around 21 o'clock at night, so I was recommended at the hotel as a fireplace shop. Expectations are inspired by a very tasty shop. It was nice that my grandmother was baked in the hearth in the center of the store. I was worried that the menu was all at market price and there was no description of the price, but it was a satisfying shop even including the price. The scallop is delicious. The sea urchin bowl was also the best.
The atmosphere is the best place anyway.Cooking can also be best. However, please prepare for smoke in the store.Depending on the baked goods and timing, the smoke that the eyes hurt will run around the store. In addition, the price is not basically the price notation = the market price. Let's look at 6000 yen per person. I will tell you something special, but basically I think that it is good if it thinks about 1500 yen. Because I have been sick for sightseeing, I think that it is better for you to go.To put it briefly, the smoke is terrible and slightly expensive, but the material is the best. Be sure to go for people who like grilled fish. You will not regret it with taste.
Foods taste great, but the waitress is aloof and cocky, plus menu doesn't have price list, end up a bit pricy.
Traditional robata grill setting, be prepare to pay high price.Meal for two is around 9000 to 10000 yen.. Depending on what u order. There is no price list. No itemised billing. Just one lump sumFood is cooked just right and tasty.
The granny's craft is very good, the food is delicious, and it is full of emotion.
Our family ate dinner here in July. I learned that this was a birthplace of Robatayaki. The chef, a old grandma sat behind the wooden counter in front of the grill. The lighting is low and had vintage feel. The menu didn’t have price, but we decided to order Shiitake mushroom, scallop, Shishamo fish, squid, Hokki clam. Everything was grilled perfectly and delicious! The price was not cheep but we felt it was worth it. We would definitely eat here again when in town!
Robata-yaki is where fish, meat and veggies are grilled over a large hearth. A very popular dish with locals in this seaside city. The local "Ainu" people have been cooking in this manner for a very long time however it's believed that this style of dining was developed in Sendai. A city in the Tokoku area of Japan. This restaurant is reputably the oldest in the city. The elderly lady who runs the restaurant looks after all the hearth cooking. Using only experience and know how to cook foods to perfection. The foods were lovely and the atmosphere very unique.
The atmosphere is good! The taste of the food is great!Everything is super delicious after the grandmother has baked it, retaining the umami taste of the food, but the price is a little higher, but it is still worth it.
Best place!
It is recommended to the second house.I think it is "market value", but it is not surprising.
Had a great time and made some friends chatting with the other customers around the counter. It was also fun to watch them wake up the grandma sitting by the fire when they had a new fish order come in. She would take a few seconds to wake up and then BAM she would get right to grilling the fish.
The grilled fish is pretty good, because there is no list price, the price part should be confirmed when ordering, otherwise it will be easy to eat beyond the budget
